A grade 12 student at Wellington College, UK, THRA’S founder, Ishan Verma is a passionate young leader who is driven by a strong desire to utilize new-age technologies in creating purposeful innovations. With a keen interest in mathematics, science and sustainable engineering design, Ishan set up The Heat Relief Alliance to successfully use his interests in driving environmental and social change, especially with respect to the underserved communities in India. Beyond his project, he also actively dedicates time to various extracurriculars including school leadership and academic scholar clubs, research projects, public speaking, athletics and even magic. Dividing his time effectively between enhancing his academics, pursuing diverse interests and leading social initiatives, Ishan is committed to creating real-world impact that is sustainable and benefits all sections of society for years to come.
